Dennis Herrold (Albemarle, 1927 - Las Cruces, 2002)

Hello, unfortunately I'm not able to read Spanish, but it seems you set up a good psot on Herrold. Is the picture on the top showing Herrold? That would be a sensation, because no one ever tracked down a picture of him.

Best regards,
mellow (Alexander Petrauskas)

Thank you Mellow for your comment and because y read your work about him and it help me a lot in my post.
I´m not sure with the picture 100 % but is the most possible picture of him that I can found. The picture is a little photo in the back cover of an old recopilation vinyl record that I have. In this back cover the author is writing a lot about Herrold and after he put this picture, but i´m not sure too and perhaps is the picture of another musician that he write there.
I´m sorry you can´t read spanish. I can translate you the last words where your name appear:
"according to reseacher Alexander Petrauskas, this music pioneer with only one single record, die when the 21st century are starting in Sierra county, when he has 75 years old".
Thank you again and I hope you can read more (Spanish lenguaje is easy, try it)
Best regards friend.

yes, you're right. Never heard of this comp before and couldn't find anything out. Do you own it still (and possible scan it for me)?

[my previous comment had some mistakes - hope you don't mind]

Sorry for don´t answer you before, but I was very busy changing my adress (now I´m living in Turkey). The vinyl record I have named "Rockabilly rarities vol. 3" but i think is a bad translation of the "Imperial rockabillies vol.3" (1981) because both had the same songs. The spanish version has a bad translation from the french version of this one (What a lot of troubles!) with another pics on the back. OK, thinking about this, I think is not probable that the pic of Herrold that I think, it was of him. That´s because I´m sure the spanish editor don´t have the photo if the american editor don´t have it. But in the back appear a pic of one singer that i never see before ( I don´t know who is him, if somebody knows, please, write me). Now I can´t scan you the comp here. I´ll try when i come back to Spain (someday, I hope).
The best regards for you my friend.
